Head of Finance Operations at Klasha

• The Head of Finance Operations will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and scalability of Klasha’s financial operations. This individual will be the driving force behind the execution of daily banking operations, merchant settlements, fund flows, reconciliations, and the implementation of robust controls and SOPs.
• We are looking for someone assertive, executionfocused, and proactive—someone who will vigorously drive the opening of new bank accounts and push through blockers, while maintaining high standards for control, accuracy, and process optimisation.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive the opening and onboarding of local and international bank accounts across jurisdictions with speed and persistence.
• Manage relationships with banking partners and ensure compliance with onboarding requirements.
• Monitor all inflows and outflows across bank accounts and payment rails to ensure timely merchant settlements and currency availability.
• Design and implement robust, scalable finance operations processes, including merchant settlement processes, trade bookings, reconciliations, and cash management controls.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce manual errors and operational risks.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage cash flow movements and FX positions.
• Support the treasury function in executing trades and managing liquidity needs for crossborder payments.
• Oversee bank, PSP, and wallet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of breaks.
• Coordinate with the finance team on reporting requirements, including daily cash position reports, merchant settlement trackers, and FX utilisation logs.
• Collaborate with Product and Tech to automate key operational processes.
• Manage and grow the finance operations team as required.

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience (7+ years) in finance operations, treasury, or payments within a fintech or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of crossborder payments, banking operations, and FX flows.
• A selfstarter with a strong sense of urgency and ownership—someone who does not wait to be told what to do.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to push through bottlenecks, follow up diligently, and drive action.
• Strong attention to detail with a processimprovement mindset.
• Working knowledge of reconciliation tools, treasury management, and ERP systems is a plus.
• Resilient, solutionsdriven, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a highgrowth environment.
