About the Role

• The Head of Finance will oversee the financial health and integrity of the organization. This role is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, analysis, compliance, reporting, and risk management—ensuring sound decision-making and long-term sustainability.
• This is a high-impact leadership role suited for a seasoned finance professional with strategic depth, team leadership experience, and a strong understanding of high-growth business environments.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Strategy

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to leadership
• Align financial goals with business growth and expansion plans

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS/GAAP
• Maintain full compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls
• Manage external audits and relationships with financial institutions

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Oversee liquidity, cash flow, treasury, and capital structure
• Manage banking relationships and financial operations

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Strengthen financial controls and risk mitigation strategies
• Promote financial integrity and ensure business continuity

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Stakeholder & Investor Relations

• Deliver financial insights to board members and investors
• Support fundraising and investor due diligence

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or CFA) highly preferred
• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance/Business (an advantage)
• 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with experience in senior leadership
• Proven experience in high-growth organizations
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
