    Head of Business Development

    Sector: Real Estate / Mortgage

    Overview

    • The Head Business Development primarily responsible for increasing the organization’s revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding brand presence.
    • He/ She will lead cross-functional teams, manage existing partnerships, and evaluate organization business goals.

    Skills and Capabilities

    • Work closely with leadership and cross functional members of management team to drive and implement corporate strategy and long-range planning based on current portfolio opportunities and risks, financing needs and organizational capabilities.
    • Support business development initiatives including collaboration, assessing competitive landscape, business development, conducting due diligence, lead generation and sourcing, and financial analysis.
    • Develop a sale growth strategy focused both on financial growth and customer satisfaction
    • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs
    • Organize business meetings with prospective clients
    • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
    • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
    • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
    • Build relationships with new and existing customers.

    Qualifications

    • First Degree from a reputable tertiary institution in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing & Sales, or related field
    • MSc/MBA or relevant certification is an added advantage
    • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, with demonstrated progressive growth
    • Proven experience in business development in the real estate industry knowledge
    • Good stakeholder management skills
    • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
    • Good communication and relationship management skill.
    • In-depth understanding of sales and analysis
    • Good understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
    • Good appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
