Head, Finance at CRC Credit Bureau Limited (Credit Reference Company)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and management to the finance department to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s financial strategy, aligning resources with business objectives.
• Advise the CEO and executive team with financial strategy recommendations to guide corporate decision-making.
• Perform risk management by analysing the company’s liabilities, investments, and overall financial exposure.
• Oversee all major financial decisions, including budgeting, auditing, and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Review financial reports and identify methods to reduce costs and improve profitability.
• Maintain full control over financial records, documentation, and reporting frameworks.
• Review, update, and improve financial procedures and internal control systems to strengthen governance.
• Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, banks, and other key financial stakeholders.
• Support business expansion initiatives through due diligence, investment appraisal, and financial modelling.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CFA (mandatory).
• Must have 7 – 10 years post-NYSC professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, risk management, and compliance.
• Prior working experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage.
