Head Electrician at ABM Tek Limited

Job Summary:

ABM TEK LIMITED is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Electrician to lead our electrical team in delivering high-quality auto repair and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will oversee all electrical work in vehicles, manage the team of electricians, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. This role demands excellent technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Duties:

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, and electronic control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of electrical systems in vehicles.
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies and ensure the team is trained on the latest diagnostic and repair techniques.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Ensure all electrical tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

Leadership Duties:

• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of electricians to maintain high standards of performance.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of electrical repairs and installations.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss challenges, share updates, and provide feedback.
• Maintain clear communication with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in Automotive Electrical Systems is an advantage.
• Proven experience as an auto electrician, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, components, and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
