    Head Business Development

    LOCATION: ISHERI, LAGOS NIGERIAJOB DESCRIPTION

    The Head Business Developer is going to be responsible for managing sales, marketing, business development, Planning and implementing strategies to sell new Records, Management Outsourcing, Agreements and support the implementation to achieve revenue, profit and client satisfaction plans.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate a clear understanding and use of sales and marketing processes that support the achievement of revenue, profit and return on sales plans
    • Plan and implement strategies to sell new Records Management Outsourcing Agreements and support the implementation to achieve revenue, profit and client satisfaction
    • Achieve Company’s assigned revenue and gross profit budget on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
    • Identify business opportunities and prospects and evaluate their position through research and analysis of sales options
    • Drive active selling of all service lines by establishing relevant contacts and developing relationships with prospects
    • Maintain relationship with existing clients by providing requisite support and information
    • Identify product/service improvements or new products/services by keeping abreast of industry trends, market activities, and carrying out competitor analysis
    • Prepare reports (as required by management) by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
    • Participate in the Company’s business review processes, budgeting and strategy sessions
    • Drive brand awareness and increase awareness on the benefits of outsourcing physical document management
    • Liaise cross functionally with other teams in the Company towards achieving overall business goals
    • Develop and maintain database of prospects and clients on behalf of the Company
    • Maintain a positive relationship with the resource partners to ensure a defined base of qualified prospects, as well as develop new prospects independently
    • Accountable for the preparation of proposals that include all products and services offered by the company Document Management Limited with emphasis on transitioning clients into more advanced records management solutions
    • Maintain positive relationships with operations, administration and other resource partnering departments.

    FUNCTIONS / DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES

    • Meeting customers and prospecting
    • Understanding customer requirement, costing and effective proposal sharing with customer.
    • Effective communication with customer and cross functional teams
    • Assisting customers understand the organization’s products and services
    • Account management, handling client queries, tracking payments and renewals, cross selling, escalations, etc.
    • Reporting on sales achievement, projections, etc.
    • Monthly reporting and budgeting

     EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of Second Class Lower or its equivalent in any discipline
    • A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline will be an added advantage
    • At least 5 years’ relevant sales experience in Business to Business (B2B) marketing, preferably Insurance, with demonstrable sales performance
    • Experience in corporate sales
