• We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a wide range of hair styling services, possess excellent customer service skills, and be passionate about the latest hair trends and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and offer expert advice on style, color, and treatments.
• Perform haircutting services for men, women, and children, including trims, layering, and precision cuts.
• Execute all hair coloring services, including highlights, balayage, ombré, root touch-ups, permanent color, semi-permanent color, and corrective color.
• Provide hair treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, scalp treatments, and chemical straightening or relaxing.
• Style hair for various occasions—blowouts, updos, curling, straightening, and special event styling (weddings, proms, photoshoots).
• Perform texturizing techniques like perms and chemical waving.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards of tools, workstations, and the salon environment.
• Manage appointments efficiently and ensure timely service delivery.
• Keep up to date with the latest hair care products, tools, and trends to continuously offer fresh styles and recommendations.
• Educate clients on hair care maintenance and product recommendations to sustain hair health and style longevity.
• Collaborate with other stylists and salon staff to maintain a welcoming, professional, and client-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• If available, valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience as a hairstylist in a salon setting.
• Strong knowledge of hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Passion for hair fashion and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Fixing of frontals, wigging, etc
• Experience with advanced color correction and trending coloring techniques.
• Proficiency in bridal and special occasion hairstyling.
• Knowledge of hair extensions and their application.
• Familiarity with eco-friendly and organic hair products.
