Gynecologists and Obstetricians at Magodo Specialist Hospital

Responsibilities

• Conduct standard gynecological exams to evaluate women's reproductive health, such as pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast exams.
• Identify and manage gynecological problems, including STIs, pelvic discomfort, and menstrual abnormalities.
• Offer prenatal care to expectant mothers, such as routine examinations, prenatal testing, and pregnancy-related counseling.
• Handle high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery issues, and difficulties following childbirth.
• Execute surgical treatments as required, including hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and laparoscopic operations.
• Inform patients on family planning, contraceptive methods, and issues related to reproductive health.
• Work together with other medical professionals, such as nurses, specialists, and midwives, to offer patients complete treatment.

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proven experience working as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of obstetric and gynecological procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
