    Growth & Performance Marketer

    Job Description

    • As a growth and performance marketer, you will be responsible for driving the growth of a company's customer base, revenue, and profitability through strategic marketing initiatives.
    • You are required to be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing tactics data analysis and work to identify growth opportunities and develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve the company's goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzing Data: Analyze data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth. This requires understanding customer behavior, market trends, and how different marketing channels impact the bottom line.
    • Developing Strategies: Based on the analysis of data, develop marketing strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and revenue. This involves creating campaigns that align with the company's overall goals and target audience.
    • Implementing Tactics: Responsible for implementing marketing tactics such as email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising. This requires creating and executing campaigns that are designed to drive traffic, generate leads, and convert customers.
    • A/B Testing: Use A/B testing to experiment with different marketing tactics to determine what works best for the company. This includes testing different messaging, ad formats, and landing pages to improve conversion rates.
    • Collaborating with Teams: A growth marketer collaborates with cross-functionalteams such as product, design, and engineering to ensure that marketing efforts align with product development and customer experience.
    • Monitoring Performance: A growth marketer monitors the performance of marketing campaigns and makes data-driven decisions to optimize them for better results. This involves analyzing metrics such as customer lifetime value (CLV), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and conversion rates.
    • Reporting: A growth marketer is responsible for reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns to the company's leadership team. This includes providing insights and recommendations for future marketing initiatives based on the data.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • The key performance indicators (KPIs) for the growth and performancemarketer will focus on a combination of acquisition, engagement, retention, revenue, virality, funnel, and brand metrics to drive growth and achieve the company's goals and specific targets.
    • Acquisition Metrics: These metrics measure the number of new customers or leads generated through various marketing channels. Examples include website traffic, conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
    • Engagement Metrics: These metrics measure how engaged customers are with the company's products or services. Examples include email open rates, click-through rates (CTR), social media engagement rates, and time spent on the website.
    • Retention Metrics: These metrics measure how well the company is retaining customers over time. Examples include churn rate, customer satisfaction score (CSAT), and repeat purchase rate.
    • Revenue Metrics: These metrics measure the company's financial performance. Examples include revenue growth, profit margin, and return on investment (ROI).
    • Virality Metrics: These metrics measure how effectively the company is leveraging social sharing and word-of-mouth to acquire new customers. Examples include social media shares, referral rate, and net promoter score (NPS).
    • Funnel Metrics: These metrics measure the effectiveness of the marketing funnel in moving customers from awareness to purchase. Examples include conversion rate by funnel stage, average order value (AOV), and abandoned cart rate.
    • Brand Metrics: These metrics measure the strength of the company's brand in the market. Examples include brand awareness, brand sentiment, and brand loyalty.

    Reports:

    A growth and performance marketer will be required to communicate the impact of their marketing efforts to the leadership team, demonstrate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing spend, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization with the following reports:

    • Weekly/Monthly Marketing Performance Report: This report provides an overview of the company's marketing performance over a set period of time. It typically includes data on website traffic, conversion rates, CPA, CLV, email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and other key performance indicators. This report helps leadership track progress toward marketing goals and identify areas for improvement.
    • A/B Test Results Report: This report provides an analysis of A/B testing results for different marketing tactics, such as ad copy, messaging, and landing pages. It includes data on conversion rates, engagement rates, and other relevant metrics to help management to understand which tactics are most effective.
    • Customer Retention Report: This report provides an analysis of customer retention over time, including churn rate, CLV, and customer satisfaction. It helps leaders to understand how well the company is retaining customers and identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
    • Funnel Conversion Report: This report provides an analysis of the marketing funnel conversion rates for different stages, from awareness to purchase. It helps management to identify where potential customers are dropping off and what can be done to improve conversion rates.
    • Paid Advertising Report: This report provides an analysis of paid advertising campaigns, including data on cost per click (CPC), conversion rate, and ROI. It helps senior management to understand the effectiveness of the company's paid advertising efforts and identify areas for improvement.
    • Social Media Report: This report provides an analysis of social media performance, including data on engagement rate, follower growth, and post reach.
    • It helps management to understand how well the company is engaging with its target audience on social media and identifying opportunities to improve social media strategy.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with at least 3 years relevant work experience.
