    Growth Marketer/Strategist

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time Growth Marketer/Strategist role based in Lagos, operating in a hybrid model that combines on-site collaboration with flexibility to work from home.
    • The Growth Marketer/Strategist will design, execute, and optimize end-to-end growth initiatives across the customer journey, from awareness and acquisition to activation, retention, and referral.
    • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and testing growth experiments, managing performance and lifecycle campaigns, and owning key growth metrics and dashboards.
    • The role involves applying data-driven insights to refine marketing funnels, optimize landing pages, and improve acquisition channels, including paid, owned, and earned media.
    • The Growth Marketer/Strategist will collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align growth strategies with product roadmaps and user experience improvements.
    • The person in this role will also conduct market and competitor research, define customer segments, and support strategic planning for new markets, products, and partnerships.

    Qualifications

    • Strong expertise in Growth Marketing and Growth Hacking, with a track record of designing and scaling data-driven growth experiments.
    • Proficiency in Marketing Analytics and Web Analytics, including the ability to interpret data, build dashboards, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
    • Hands-on experience with Lead Generation, including campaign planning, funnel optimization, and conversion rate improvement across digital channels.
    • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., search, social, email, display) and performance marketing best practices.
    • Ability to work with A/B testing tools, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems to drive personalized and lifecycle-based campaigns.
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Bsc/Msc in Marketing, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Three years proven experience in the mentioned field.
    • Experience in travel, e-commerce, or consumer-facing tech products is an advantage.
