Job Description

• We are looking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As our Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy; towards maximising efficiency and productivity.
• Our preference is for an individual who will be able to create value, understands the risks in procurement and is able to mitigate them and deliver a competitive advantage to our Company.

Role Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
• Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
• Evaluate and report on KPIs
• Train and mentor subordinates
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.

Role Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in relevant field of study. Supply Chain Management certifications are necessary requirements
• Minimum seven (7) years’ previous experience in a similar role and in the Telecommunications tier three sector
• Strategic and analytical mindset
• Excellent Knowledge of Supply Chain processes
• Attention to details
• Creative Problem solving skill
• Organisational and Project Management Skills.
