Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate and skilled Visual Design & Branding Tutor to join our academy. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the fundamentals of visual design, branding, and creative software tools. Your goal will be to equip learners with the practical and conceptual skills needed to thrive in the design industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and practical lessons on visual design and branding, both online and/or in person.
• Teach students how to use key design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Guide students in understanding and applying design elements and principles.
• Help students develop creative thinking and conceptualisation skills.
• Introduce students to design thinking methodologies and real-world design processes.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on student projects and assignments.
• Support students in handling creative briefs and executing them professionally.
• Track student progress and provide mentorship throughout the course.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills & Tools:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Solid understanding of visual design principles, branding, and layout.
• Ability to break down complex design concepts into easy-to-understand lessons.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching.
• Ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking in students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a tutor, trainer, or instructor (formal or informal) is an added advantage
• A strong design portfolio showcasing branding and visual design work.
• You have at least two to five years of work experience
