Graphic Designer/Website Manager at Aweenow NG LTD

We are seeking a new graphic designer/website manager to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. Top candidates will be comfortable troubleshooting the website and constantly improve the User Experience (UX) of the website.

You will also need to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of website management, maintenance, graphic designs as well as creating of video contents as relating to hospitality management and bookings.

Graphics Designer/Website manager Responsibilities

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinating with outside agencies, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Communicating with clients about layout and design.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop etc.
• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organization's website.
• Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.
• Identify and respond to all website security breaches.
• Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
• Create appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.
• Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
• Improve the User Experience of the website regularly.
• Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.
• Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.

Graphics Designer/Website manager Requirements

• A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related design qualification.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Experience with computer-aided design.
• Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid per Click (PPC).
• Excellent content creation and writing skills.
• Knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems, Wordpress and W3C Web standards.
