About the Role
- We are looking for a talented, high-ownership Graphic Designer & Video Editor to lead visual design and post-production across our brand, marketing, and learning platforms. This role sits at the intersection of design craft and editorial storytelling — every asset you produce either builds our brand or improves how our students learn.
- You will design brand-aligned graphics, edit short-form and long-form video, build learning materials for our LMS, and maintain visual consistency across every touchpoint. From social media reels to course thumbnails to live class recordings — this is your canvas.
- You will not just execute briefs. You will own creative quality, design with purpose, and ensure every visual we put out — whether it is a reel, a carousel, or a session cover — reflects the standard our students and audience expect.
Who You Are
- A high-ownership, detail-driven creative who thrives in fast-paced environments and consistently delivers polished work
- You think in systems while executing with precision — you can hold a creative vision and a tight deadline simultaneously
- You translate ideas, briefs, and raw footage into compelling visual narratives that serve both marketing and learning goals
- You care deeply about brand consistency — off-brand is never an option
- You design with audience impact in mind, not just aesthetics
- You build reusable templates and design systems, not just one-off assets
- You edit video with a storyteller's eye — pacing, sound design, captions, transitions, and brand all matter to you
You bring:
- Strong visual design judgment: typography, layout, colour, and hierarchy fundamentals
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to move fast when needed
- Clear written and visual communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset — you work well across teams
- Humility, curiosity, and a strong builder mentality
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
You own the edit. You turn raw footage into polished, on-brand video.
- Edit short-form videos for social media, ads, and course promotion using Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects
- Edit long-form content including full course recordings, webinars, workshops, and live sessions
- Add captions, lower thirds, transitions, animations, and brand elements to all video outputs
- Apply colour grading, audio mixing, and sound design to deliver broadcast-quality finishes
- Repurpose long-form learning content into short, engaging clips for marketing and LMS previews
- Optimise video outputs for multiple platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the LMS
- Maintain organised video files, project assets, and an accessible media archive
Brand & Marketing Design
You own the visual output that represents UstackSchool to the world.
- Design brand-aligned visuals for social media, ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and presentations
- Create marketing creatives including banners, thumbnails, carousels, posters, and promotional assets
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, design templates, and visual systems across all platforms
- Ensure visual consistency and quality across every customer-facing touchpoint
- Design across Canva (advanced), Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, delivering polished, on-brand outputs independently.
Learning Experience & LMS Creatives
This is a core part of the role. Your designs and edits directly shape how students experience our programmes.
- Design and produce creatives for live classes, webinars, workshops, and practical learning sessions hosted on our LMS
- Create class cover images, session banners, module thumbnails, and learner-facing visual assets
- Edit instructor-led session recordings, ensuring consistent audio quality, clean pacing, and branded visual overlays
- Design slides, workbooks, worksheets, and practical exercise templates for instructors and learners
- Create countdown slides, holding screens, and session open and close visuals for live classes
- Design certificates, completion badges, and learner progress visuals
- Ensure all learning creatives are clear, accessible, and easy to understand at a glance.
Motion Graphics & Animation
You bring static brand elements to life across video and social.
- Build animated intros, outros, lower thirds, and transition packs as reusable motion templates
- Create kinetic typography, animated explainers, and diagram animations for instructional content
- Animate infographics, data visuals, and process breakdowns to support learning outcomes
- Maintain a motion library that keeps brand animation consistent across every video we publish
Asset Management & Image Editing
You keep the visual library clean, retouched, and ready to use.
- Edit, retouch, and colour-correct brand, event, team, and student photography to a professional standard
- Prepare and export image assets for digital and print use across social, web, and LMS platforms
- Build and maintain a well-organised asset library accessible to the marketing and content teams
- Manage version control, naming conventions, and archiving of all design and video files
Creative Planning & Collaboration
Great output starts with great planning. You are involved from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, curriculum, and education teams to conceptualise design and video projects
- Develop storyboards, mood boards, edit outlines, and visual briefs to align creative direction before production begins
- Advise on shoot requirements — shot lists, coverage, and framing — so footage arrives edit-ready
- Design visual concepts, layouts, and motion treatments to complement planned video content
Quality Control & Delivery
You take responsibility for the quality of every file that leaves your hands.
- Review and revise all visual and video outputs based on feedback from educators, marketers, and learners
- Ensure all designs and videos meet brand standards, readability, accessibility, and usability best practices
- Maintain organised file structures, named assets, and a clean media archive for easy team access
- Iterate quickly, communicate progress clearly, and deliver on agreed timelines without prompting
