    Grants and Partnership Advisor

    Job Summary

    • The Grant and Partnership Advisor at CCDRN will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's capacity to secure and manage grants effectively while fostering strong, productive relationships with partners and donors.
    • This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
    • The successful candidate will ensure seamless coordination between CCDRN and its partners/donors and liaise with the technical and finance teams to ensure timely project milestones and financial reporting delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Grant Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of grants, including identification of opportunities, proposal development, submission, and reporting. Ensure compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
    • Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with current and potential donors and partners. Develop strategies to enhance partner engagement and satisfaction.
    • Coordination and Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between CCDRN and its partners/donors. Facilitate effective communication and information exchange between CCDRN's technical and finance teams and external stakeholders.
    • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all grants and projects. Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor compliance with donor agreements and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate risks associated with grant funding and partnerships.
    • Capacity Building: Provide guidance and training to CCDRN staff on best practices in grant management and partner relations. Develop tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of all grants, partnerships, and related activities. Prepare regular reports on partnership activities, funding opportunities, and project progress.
    • Strategic Planning: Contribute to developing CCDRN's strategic plans, focusing on funding and partnership goals. Evaluate the effectiveness of partnership strategies and make recommendations for improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in grant management, fundraising, or partnership development, preferably in a non-profit or international development context.
    • Demonstrated success in securing grants and managing relationships with donors and partners.
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
    • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management software.
    • Knowledge of the development sector, funding landscapes, and donor requirements.

    Working Conditions

    • This position is based at the CCDRN Office but may require occasional travel to meet with partners and donors.
    • Standard office hours apply, but flexibility is needed to meet deadlines and attend meetings outside regular hours.
