Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced teacher for IGCSE Geography and History.
• The ideal candidate will inspire students with engaging lessons, foster critical thinking, and help them achieve outstanding results in these key subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE Geography and History, following the Cambridge International curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet IGCSE standards.
• Plan and execute lessons, assignments, and projects to develop students' understanding of geographical and historical concepts.
• Prepare students for internal and external IGCSE examinations, ensuring excellent academic performance.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
• Use innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular connections and enrichment.
• Encourage a love for Geography and History while fostering critical thinking and global awareness.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Geography, History, Education, or a related field (a master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in IGCSE Geography and History.
• Deep knowledge of the Cambridge International curriculum and examination standards.
• Proven track record of helping students achieve excellent results in IGCSE exams.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in using technology to support teaching and learning.
