    General Manger

    Job Description

    • As the General Manager of O’Spaces Nigeria Limited, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success and leading our team to deliver exceptional results.
    • Your primary goal will be to over-see the day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring operational efficiency, achieving targets, and implementing strategies to drive growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide effective leadership, motivate and mentor the entire team, foster a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement.
    • Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and cultivate relationships with stakeholders to expand the company's market presence. Actively participate in business development activities, including bidding processes and negotiations.
    • Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures. Oversee financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.
    • Stay updated on construction regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Ensure that all construction activities comply with legal requirements, permits, and industry best practices.
    • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the delivery of tasks and high-quality projects. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact delivery or profitability. Develop and implement risk management strategies and contingency plans.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on general progress level, financial performance, and key metrics to senior management. Foster open and effective communication channels with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement appropriate measures to minimize workplace hazards and incidents.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 4 - 10 years work experience.
