General Manager at Ventures Park

We are looking to engage an exciting, energetic and enterprising candidate to take up the reins as General Manager at Ventures Park. Our choice candidate will be primarily concerned with making our space a sustainable thriving community and the No.1 place of choice for entrepreneurs, freelancers and brilliant minds to express their creativity, collaborate and build their dreams.

She/He will essentially lead the team to deliver on the following;

Business Strategy

• Design and deploy an efficient business strategy required to achieve and exceed set goals

• Ensure service standards are constantly upheld and improved upon

• Pro-actively identify and implement solutions to rising challenges

• Ensuring Ventures Park is considered a great place to work

• Coach and mentor team members

• Builds and manage the budget; regularly balance off expenses with revenue realities

• Regularly identify cost-cutting measures (such as partnerships, and barter) to ensure a healthy profit margin

Business Development, Partnership & Sales

• Ensure full occupancy and a steady pipeline for VPK’s Co-working and rental spaces

• Lead product development and optimization.

• Be sensitive to market needs in designing new product lines and conducting price reviews when necessary.

• Identify needs and opportunities for business expansion; and ensure it is efficiently optimized.

Business Support & Operation

• Responsible for providing leadership and guidance for all support and operational functions necessary

• Deliver on the company’s strategy

Project Management

• Supervise all technical functions relating to the deployment of a project

• Set project timelines and ensure it is been adhered to

• Ensure project expenses are kept below budget

• Ensure clients are effectively managed all through the life of a project
