General Manager – The Tropicana Tourism Institution (TTI) at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort

Job Summary

• The Tropicana Tourism Institution (TTI) at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead its operations, training programs, and capacity-building initiatives.
• This role is critical to shaping the next generation of skilled professionals in tourism, hospitality, and eco-resort management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for TTI, ensuring excellence in program delivery, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop, implement, and monitor training and professional development programs in tourism, hospitality, cultural tourism, event coordination, and eco-tourism practices.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff management, scheduling, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, educational institutions, and government agencies to expand TTI’s reach and impact.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards within the training and hospitality environment.
• Lead initiatives that empower youth and emerging professionals through skill acquisition, workplace discipline, and hands-on experience.
• Monitor institutional performance, analyze outcomes, and implement improvements to enhance participant experience and organizational impact.

Requirements

• 15 years experience in construction, facility maintenance . Experience in resort or hotel construction or maintenance is an added advantage
• Demonstrated experience in project management and project fund raising ,
• Strong strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to drive organizational growth, operational efficiency, and high-quality project delivery.
