Job Summary

I-SenseVille Consults is currently recruiting for the position of General Manager on behalf of our client in the real estate and construction industry. The role is to provide strategic leadership and operational direction for the Company, ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, financial growth, operational efficiency, and maintenance of quality and safety standards across all departments.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Ikota - Lekki, Lagos
Remuneration: 500,000 Monthly Net (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the development and implementation of strategic business plans, operational policies, and annual budgets.
2. Oversee projects from planning through execution to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
3. Drive business expansion, partnerships, and client relationship management to grow the company’s market share.
4. Provide high-level oversight of finance, operations, procurement, HR, legal, and project management functions.
5. Lead, motivate, and mentor department heads; ensure performance objectives are set and achieved.
6. Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
7. Ensure compliance with statutory, technical, and industry regulations.
8. Produce periodic reports and updates to the Board and provide advisory support for strategic decision-making.
9. Promote a culture of innovation, performance excellence, teamwork, and health & safety across the organization.

Education & Experience

1. BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction/project management, 2 years in senior management.
3. Strong financial and commercial management skills.
4. Excellent leadership, client management, and negotiation abilities.
