We are seeking a highly experienced Gas Pipeline Construction Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will oversee pipeline construction projects, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and manage all phases of execution and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead pipeline construction and management projects across Nigeria
Ensure compliance with ASME B31.8, B31.3, API 1104, and other relevant standards
Manage project execution timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement
Conduct pipeline integrity testing and maintain safety and quality protocols
Monitor adherence to regulatory and technical specifications
Prepare project reports, assessments, and technical documentation
Coordinate with QA/QC and engineering teams for optimal performance
Travel frequently to Southwest Nigeria and other project sites
Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on experience in pipeline construction and engineering
Strong knowledge of ASME B31.8, B31.3, API 1104 standards
Expertise in pipeline integrity testing and construction best practices
Experience working in the oil and gas industry across different terrains
Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent) is an added advantage
Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
Willingness to travel regularly and work in dynamic environments
