    Fundraising and Partnership Officer

    • The Foundation for Cancer Care is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria that provides free cancer education, screening and treatment services to Nigerians.

    Role Description

    • Coordinate the implementation of the Foundation for Cancer Care’s annual fundraisers to maximize revenue opportunities.
    • Lead on the development of digital fundraising campaigns for the Foundation.
    • Work with Program Manager to strategically identify and develop strategies to secure new partnerships and sponsorship for the Foundation.
    • Re-engage historic donors and partners of the Foundation and maintain existing partnerships. 
    • Build and maintain a database of prospective major donors and partners.
    • Research and provide input on funding and sector trends and identify opportunities to ensure the organization is well-positioned to meet its strategic fundraising goals. 
    • Research and identify potential grants and other opportunities for the Foundation’s programs
    • Work with the Program Manager and community engagement team to coordinate, draft, and submit compelling and tailored funding concepts and proposals. 
    • Coordinate the activities of the Foundation’s volunteer platform
    • Schedule meetings and draft minutes and action items of meetings
    • Provide programmatic support to the Foundation’s community engagement programs
    • Liaise with other staff and contribute to the organization’s overall effectiveness.
    • Provide support to other team members in their unavoidable absence.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned, including dedicated special initiatives. 

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Health or related fields.
    • At least 2 years experience in fundraising, partnerships, events management, proposal writing and donor engagement.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to build relationships with professionals, business leaders and government officials.
    • Passion for social impact in the health sector
