The Foundation for Cancer Care is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria that provides free cancer education, screening and treatment services to Nigerians.
Role Description
Coordinate the implementation of the Foundation for Cancer Care’s annual fundraisers to maximize revenue opportunities.
Lead on the development of digital fundraising campaigns for the Foundation.
Work with Program Manager to strategically identify and develop strategies to secure new partnerships and sponsorship for the Foundation.
Re-engage historic donors and partners of the Foundation and maintain existing partnerships.
Build and maintain a database of prospective major donors and partners.
Research and provide input on funding and sector trends and identify opportunities to ensure the organization is well-positioned to meet its strategic fundraising goals.
Research and identify potential grants and other opportunities for the Foundation’s programs
Work with the Program Manager and community engagement team to coordinate, draft, and submit compelling and tailored funding concepts and proposals.
Coordinate the activities of the Foundation’s volunteer platform
Schedule meetings and draft minutes and action items of meetings
Provide programmatic support to the Foundation’s community engagement programs
Liaise with other staff and contribute to the organization’s overall effectiveness.
Provide support to other team members in their unavoidable absence.
Any other duties that may be assigned, including dedicated special initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Health or related fields.
At least 2 years experience in fundraising, partnerships, events management, proposal writing and donor engagement.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with professionals, business leaders and government officials.
