As an FTTH Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of fiber optic networks. This role involves site surveys, installation supervision, and troubleshooting.
Reports to: Senior Engineer/Project Manager
Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys to identify optimal fiber routes and installation methods.
Supervise installation teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and maintenance.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on site surveys, installations, and maintenance.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and customers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber optics, or a related field.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships or training are encouraged to apply.
Strong understanding of fiber optic principles, networks, and transmission technologies.
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ITU, IEEE).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
