Position Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French, experienced in teaching the language across multiple grade levels, and able to inspire a love for French language and culture in students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French language lessons (oral, written, and reading comprehension) for assigned classes.
• Introduce students to French culture, traditions, and history as part of the learning experience.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying language abilities.
• Prepare teaching resources, assessments, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Support school events, language clubs, and extracurricular activities promoting French language use.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding, and academic standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in French, Languages, Linguistics, or related field.
• Proven teaching experience (experience in British or Nigerian curriculum is an advantage).
• Native or near-native fluency in spoken and written French.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to use creative teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance learning.
