Role Description

• This is a part-time, on-site role for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
• The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and ensuring efficient cost control throughout the project life-cycle.
• Additional duties include cost planning, monitoring budgets, and compiling accurate cost reports to support project progress and decision-making.
• Effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders will be essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management techniques
• Experience with preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Skills in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and sound knowledge of construction processes
• Academic background in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• Professional certification or membership is considered an advantage
