This is a part-time, on-site role for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and ensuring efficient cost control throughout the project life-cycle.
Additional duties include cost planning, monitoring budgets, and compiling accurate cost reports to support project progress and decision-making.
Effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders will be essential.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management techniques
Experience with preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
Skills in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Attention to detail and sound knowledge of construction processes
Academic background in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
Professional certification or membership is considered an advantage
