Role Description

• This is a part-time remote role for a Fractional Chief Finance Officer (CFO). The Fractional CFO will oversee the company’s financial strategy, planning, fundraising activities, investor reporting, ensuring financial stability while identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency. Responsibilities include financial reporting and analysis, creating and managing budgets, advising on investment opportunities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership to provide actionable insights that drive value and long-term success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial management, including Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and experience in creating and analyzing budgets
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data and providing actionable business insights
• Experience in supporting fundraising, investment rounds, board reporting
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Finance, including cash flow management, forecasting, and compliance
• Excellent Communication skills to present financial insights and collaborate with stakeholders effectively
• Experience with financial software tools and strong proficiency in spreadsheets and analytics platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus)
• Experience working with technology-driven or start-up businesses is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
