Food Technologists – Lagos at Helean Global Limited

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

Product Development: 

• Create new food products and recipes, improve existing ones for taste, texture, nutrition, and shelf life. 

Quality Assurance & Control: 

• Implement processes to ensure food safety, meet nutritional standards, and maintain consistent product quality. 

Sensory & Consumer Testing: 

• Conduct tests to assess product appeal and acceptability to consumers. 
• Should be able to visit markets, meet consumers/ customers for feedback and improvise products quality rapidly.

Regulatory Compliance: 

• Ensure that all food products meet government regulations, NAFDAC, FDA and food safety standards. 

Production & Process Management: 

• Work with production teams to scale up lab-based products for mass manufacturing, monitor production processes, and troubleshoot issues. 

Ingredient & Raw Material Analysis: 

• Analyse ingredients and raw materials for their quality, nutritional value, and potential allergens. 

Packaging & Preservation: 

• Choose and develop appropriate packaging and preservation techniques for food products. 

Research & Innovation: 

• Stay informed about industry trends, new ingredients, emerging technologies, and sustainability practices to drive innovation. 

Documentation: 

• Prepare technical reports, product specifications, and process guidelines

Salary budget is N250,000 - N300,000 Net
