Food Technologist at Resource Intermediaries Limited

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Food Technologist to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing department. you will play a crucial role in developing new food products and improving existing formulas to enhance quality, nutrition, and consumer satisfaction. If you have a flair for creativity, a keen eye for detail, and a love for food science, we want you on our team to drive our mission of delivering safe and delicious food products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

MAIN TASKS OR ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB:

• Developing new product ideas and recipes, formulating and cost optimization
• Testing and examining samples, and conducting experiments to improve the product quality
• Ensuring compliance with safety, legal and quality standards
• Integrating new technology in the development process of food production
• Scaling up the production process from trial through to full-scale manufacturing
• Working closely with other technical staff to develop 'recipes'
• Conducting preservation trials and managing product stability testing
• Documenting formulations, specifications, and process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Food Technologist in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Salary Proposed:

• 200k – 300k
• Any Other Relevant Information:
• Work days – Monday – Saturday
• Work Time : 9:00am -5:00pm
