Food Innovation & R&D Manager – QSR Sector at Bukka Hospitality Limited (Bukka Hut)

• This role is key to shaping the future of our menu by introducing exciting new products, improving existing recipes, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and efficiency in our production processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the development and testing of new food products—from concept to launch.
• Research market trends and consumer behaviour to propose new menu items that appeal to local tastes.
• Improve existing recipes for better taste, efficiency, and consistency.
• Ensure that all products meet local food safety laws, HACCP, and internal standards.
• Conduct regular audits across production and kitchen units to maintain hygiene, safety, and quality.
• Introduce process improvements that boost production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and food technology to drive continuous innovation.
• Balance traditional flavours with modern techniques to satisfy evolving customer demands.

Requirements:

• You have a degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Dietetics, Catering, or a related field.
• You bring 4–5 years of experience in food product development, preferably in a QSR, food brand, or catering environment.
• You understand the realities of kitchen production and how to scale recipes across outlets.
• You’re knowledgeable about food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality control.
• You have experience leading teams, running trials, and launching new products from concept to market.
