We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Accountant to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting clients with insightful financial analysis to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support client decision-making
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of management reports and board packs
Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation
Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to improve financial reporting processes
Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably within a consulting firm or professional services environment
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools)
Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA or in progress) is an added advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
