Support financial control and governance across the group, maintaining and monitoring internal controls, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the organisation’s financial integrity.
Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor internal financial controls and accounting policies.
Oversee the integrity of the general ledger and the month‑end and year‑end close processes.
Review reconciliations, journals and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws and statutory and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits and drive closure of audit findings.
Monitor cash flow, treasury, banking relationships and financial risk.
Review and strengthen controls over revenue, procurement, payroll and expenditure.
Support governance, risk and compliance reporting to the MD’s office.
Promote a strong control and compliance culture across finance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.
Minimum of 7–9 years in financial control, internal audit or accounting, including maintaining controls and supporting audit and compliance.
