Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Job Details

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Track and reconcile bank statements and other financial transactions.
• Prepare payroll, process statutory deductions, and ensure timely remittances.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for cost control.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
• Provide financial insights and support decision-making across the business.
• Support inventory, procurement, and production tracking from a financial perspective

Requirements

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in agribusiness, FMCG, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and financial reporting standards
