Finance Specialist at Ubulu Africa

What you'll do

• At Ubulu Africa, you will manage daily financial operations (including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll), oversee all financial and management accounting activities, and develop financial policies for compliance and efficiency.
• You will prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, conduct financial analysis for strategic planning, ensure regulatory compliance, manage audits, and provide financial insights to senior management.
• Additionally, you will monitor cash flow, investments, and risk management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning.

Skills & requirements you should have

• You should have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with proven experience as a Finance Specialist or similar role.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting is essential.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills are required.
• Experience with technology accounting (cloud services, subscriptions, licenses) is crucial.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment, are crucial.
