Finance Officer (Auto Spare Parts Company) at iRecruiters Africa Limited

The company is currently seeking to hire a Finance Officer with a basic understanding of financial principles and terms who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience.

The ideal candidate for this role is expected to possess ACA/ICAN/ACA membership with an exam written. S/he should also have an understanding of accounting and financial principles and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update internal systems with financial data
• Assist with filing, data entry, recording, and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
• Work with bookkeeping software.
• Compile and analyze data.
• Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the Finance department and office operations.
• Participate in financial audits
• Review and implement financial policies
• Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
• Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required

Requirements

• HND/BSC in Accounting from a reputable institution
• Pre/Post-NYSC experience in a finance role
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Aptitude for math.
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Highly motivated and have a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
