In line with group requirements, support the implementation of financial budgeting, accounting, audit supervision, and financial management in the Nigeria subsidiary. Organize, coordinate, and oversee daily financial operations, ensure proper execution of financial tasks, and help achieve the company’s financial objectives.
Manage tax-related matters in Nigeria, assist with tax audits, liaise with local tax agents, and supervise their work and major tax issues. Ensure timely completion of tax declarations and annual audits.
Monitor and forecast cash flow, oversee daily operational expenses of the Nigeria subsidiary, and manage internal financial training locally.
Supervise and ensure effective inventory management and control. Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory movements, maintain consistency between physical inventory and financial records, and investigate discrepancies. Supervise and assist with expense reimbursement and cost control.
Lead and develop the Nigeria finance team, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure alignment with company standards and improvement of overall team capability.
Report on the business performance, financial results, income and expenditure, and financial plans of the Nigeria subsidiary to the finance headquarters in China.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Familiarity with IFRS and Chinese accounting standards. Experience with annual audits in listed companies is preferred. Experience in overseas finance or financial roles in Africa is a plus.
Strong data analysis and strategic thinking skills, with solid business and financial analytical capabilities.
Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), able to use English as a working language. Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
Highly responsible, proactive, with a strong sense of teamwork, execution, and stress resilience.
