    Chief Finance Officer

    The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, cost control, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The role supports management decision-making through sound financial analysis and maintains strong financial governance across factory and office operations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage daily financial activities, including bookkeeping, payment processing, expense control, and bank reconciliations.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts to support management planning and decision-making.
    • Monitor and control operational costs, analyze financial performance, and recommend cost-saving and efficiency improvement measures.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory filings, Free Trade Zone regulations, and company financial policies.
    • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities to ensure accurate and timely financial submissions.
    • Support payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Maintain proper financial records, documentation, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial risks.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
    • Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and Free Trade Zone financial requirements is an added advantage.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and accounting or ERP systems.
    • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
