    Finance Lead, Strategy, Operations & Planning

    Reporting to Executive Director, the Head of Strategy, Operations, Process Improvement & Data Analytics will lead efforts to optimize financial resource allocation, enhance financial analysis for impact measurement, and strengthen the financial capabilities of partner organizations. In this role, you will drive operational excellence, improve financial processes, and develop data-driven insights to support decision-making across the Foundation’s program finance function.

    The ideal candidate will help the team to achieve improved resource allocation efficiency and impact-driven financial decision-making. Stronger financial management capacity among partners. Enhanced operational efficiency and reduced financial process bottlenecks. Increased adoption of financial data analytics for strategic planning.

    Contract duration: 12 months

    WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

     Strategy & Resource Allocation

    • Develop and implement a financial strategy that aligns with program impact goals.
    • Lead data-driven resource allocation planning to optimize fund distribution.
    • Create financial forecasting models to enhance decision-making.

    Financial Analysis & Impact Measurement

    • Develop frameworks to assess the financial efficiency and ROI of programs.
    • Implement data analytics tools to measure the link between financial investments and program outcomes.
    • Build dashboards and reporting tools for real-time financial insights.

    Partner Financial Capability Building

    • Design and deliver financial management training for implementing partners.
    • Develop toolkits to support partners with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
    • Establish a partner financial health assessment framework.

    Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency

    • Drive process automation and standardization within program finance.
    • Implement AI-driven financial analytics for enhanced insights.
    • Strengthen internal controls to improve transparency and mitigate financial risks.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Act as a strategic advisor to program teams, ensuring financial insights support impact.
    • Engage with external partners, donors, and auditors to enhance financial transparency.
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration between finance, programs, and technology teams.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • Master’s degree or equivalent finance degree or accounting qualifications.
    • You have a relevant professional qualification, such as CPA or CA, and are a member of a relevant professional body.
    • 10+ years of experience in financial strategy, operations, or analytics, preferably in non-profit or impact-driven organizations.
    • Strong expertise in financial planning, data analytics, and process optimization.
    • Experience in capacity building for partners or grantees.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, business intelligence tools, and automation technologies.
    • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Flexible, adaptable, and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
    • Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate information to a variety of constituents across cultures.
    • Possess professional maturity, sensitivity with different cultures, and impeccable integrity.
