Job Summary

As a Financial Controller Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance and monitor and analyse financial metrics and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Present financial reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders, providing recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets and forecasts and monitor budget variances and proactively identify and address potential issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks and coordinate audits and regulatory filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reports and disclosures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or ICAN designation preferred.
• Proven experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within the fintech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with a strong understanding of fintech trends and technologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Commitment to a high stand of integrity, ethical conduct, and accountability in all financial activities and decision-making processes.
