Finance and Accounts Manager at Rosaab International

Position Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team. 
• The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately managing financial data, ensuring compliance, and providing timely reporting. 
• You will be responsible for various financial processes, from transaction entry to preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and entered into the ERP system, auditing documents, orders, and vouchers before fund disbursement.
• Prepare and present monthly management reports within 7 days after month-end, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and fund flow statements.
• Cash Flow Management: Develop monthly projected cash flow reports based on debtor positions and anticipated expenses, conducting monthly variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly revenue data reconciliations.
• Cost Management: Implement innovative process improvement initiatives that impact customer experience and drive cost savings.
• Actively provide cost management ideas and ensure all payouts are accurate to prevent overpayments.
• Compliance and Audit: Ensure all transactions comply with regulalatory standards and strive for a clean audit report.
• Proactively address any deviations in regulatory compliance related to business operations.
• Customer Focus: Develop and maintain strong relationships with statutory clients, internal departments, and financial partners.
• Ensure timely processing of invoice management and claims payment to contractors and staff.
• Training and Development: Participate in and ensure the finance team attends all assigned in-house training sessions, pursuing continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies (ICAN, ACCA)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record in financial reporting and compliance.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and advanced Excel; ability to extract and analyze accounting data effectively.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance (VAT, Company tax etc) •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused mindset.
