the Role:

The Finance/Accounts Manager will oversee financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial planning, and cash flow management. The role ensures compliance with financial regulations and contributes to the company’s financial strategy and project health.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and track budget variances.
• Prepare financial reports on project performance, cash flow, and CapEx analysis.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, debt recovery, and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, Nigerian regulations, and international financial standards.
• Prepare for internal/external audits and resolve findings.
• Oversee tax filings and compliance with tax laws.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in finance/accounting, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
