We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Field Service Manager specializing in MWD, LWD, GWD, and DD operations.
This role is crucial in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of high-performance drilling services on-site.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in leading field teams, managing client relationships, and overseeing drilling operations to achieve exceptional results in alignment with both client expectations and company standards.
Requirement For Consideration:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling operations, with significant expertise in MWD, LWD, GWD, and DD. Familiarity with Baker Hughes technology is a strong advantage.
Comprehensive understanding of drilling principles, well design, and downhole tools specific to MWD, LWD, GWD, and DD.
Proficiency with drilling software, real-time data monitoring tools, and data interpretation for informed decision-making.
Strong troubleshooting abilities with a track record of resolving complex operational issues in high-stakes environments.
Proven ability to lead field teams, manage client relations, and drive alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Essential:
Lead field operations for MWD, LWD, GWD, and DD services, ensuring technical precision, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
Develop job plans, conduct risk assessments, and make real-time adjustments to optimize drilling performance.
Oversee and mentor field engineers and technicians, fostering a safety-focused culture and continuous skill development.
Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals, while building strong client relationships.
Uphold compliance with all regulatory and HSE guidelines, conduct job debriefs, and implement operational improvements based on field insights.
Apply advanced MWD, LWD, GWD, and DD expertise to address on-site challenges and collaborate on integrating Baker Hughes technology for optimal functionality.
