Field Personnel at Zaph & Zoe

We are an agro processing and export company based in Kano, Kwara and Lagos state and we require field personnels to join us in our Kwara and Kano operations. Speaking Hausa is an added advantage. Previous experience with product sourcing & logistics coordination is also an advantage.

Position Summary;

The field personnel is charged with the responsibility of taking products from the farm till it gets to the port. He is in charge of sourcing quality produce from farm, supervising the processing of these produce to ensure they conform to quality, stuffing these produce in containers and ensuring the trucks get to the port in time.

The field personnel is someone who must own his job and be very passionate about their roles. Must be very smart and good at coordinating people. He must understand the value of time. He must be an excellent & VERY DETAILED person. He must be an outspoken person.

The field coordinator will build extensive relationships with suppliers, truckers and processors. He must be willing to learn new things to improve the quality of his job and the company at large.

Organization Interface;

The field personnel will report to the field coordinator and the operations manager. He will be required at times to work closely with the freight forwarder & truck providers.

Performance Objectives;

• Acquaint with different product grades, organization policies and understand prices and pricing model. Negotiate realistic prices and agreements that are favorable. To work closely with Ops manager on this.
• Deliverables are measured in quality of job under his care, speed of completing job, customer satisfaction with job completed.
• Produce quality jobs and complete them in a short time. Must understand the importance of quality and timing to the organization.
• A job is said to be completed when it is loaded on the vessel.
• Keep and maintain all company properties with diligence.
• Be agile and available to travel when it is required. Will be required to source for produce in different states of the country.

• Should understand qualities of agro produce or be very willing to learn in a short time
• Candidate should be extremely observant and possess good attention to details. Must be polite, passionate and well organized.
