Fibre Site Supervisor (OAM) at WIOCC Nigeria Limited

The Fibre Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day deployment of fibre optic installation projects. This role ensures that work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, in line with project scope, specifications and industry regulations.The supervisor will manage site teams, coordinate with contractors, liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of fibre infrastructure.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 project assistance, including weekend/holiday work when required​
• Assist with network installation, testing, commissioning and integration ​
• Help install and commission fibre cables and circuits using OTDR and OLTS
• Supervise and coordinate fibre installation teams on-site
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor project progress and report updates to management
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks on completed work
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and utility companies as needed
• Manage site documentation including risk assessments, method statements and daily reports
• Resolve on-site issues and escalate when necessary
• Ensure materials and equipment are available and properly used
• Support training and development of site operatives

Minimum Qualification

• Minimum Qualification B.Sc./B.Eng./HND in any Engineering Field ​
• Technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, CFOT) or relevant field experience (preferred)​
• Valid driver’s license.
