Job Summary

Responsible for managing all aspects of open-field habanero pepper production, from nursery to harvest, ensuring high yield, quality, and efficient farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute pepper production (nursery, transplanting, spacing).
• Manage soil fertility, fertilizer application, and irrigation.
• Monitor and control pests and diseases.
• Supervise field workers and daily farm activities.
• Ensure proper harvesting, sorting, and minimal post-harvest losses.
• Keep basic records of inputs, labor, and yield.

Requirements

• Background in Agronomy or Agriculture.
• 3+ years experience in open-field pepper farming.
• Strong knowledge of pest/disease control and crop management.
• Ability to manage labor and work hands-on.
