Role Summary:

As a Family Physician you will provide primary care services to individuals and families, managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, promoting preventive care, and coordinating patient care across multiple healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and evaluations for patients of all ages, including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and health history reviews.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, health screenings, and lifestyle counseling, to promote wellness and disease prevention.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient encounters.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in family medicine or general practice.
• Valid medical license to practice as a physician in Nigeria.
• Board certification or eligibility in family medicine or general practice.
• Strong clinical skills and expertise in managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions across all age groups.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
