As the Facility Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and supervision of the company’s facility-related activities. This includes managing repairs, maintenance, utilities, space planning, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support in the supervision and management of daily facility operations, ensuring office spaces, utilities, and equipment are in optimal condition.
Develop and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Monitor building security systems, fire safety systems, and emergency preparedness measures.
Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and contractors for repairs, cleaning, security, and maintenance services.
Manage workspace allocation, office moves, and redesigns to optimize space utilization.
Support in maintaining accurate records of assets, inventory, and equipment lifecycles.
Support planning and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions.
Assist in preparing and monitoring the facility budget, including cost forecasts and expense tracking.
Support in logistics coordination for facility operations including coordinating transportation of materials, personnels, managing delivery scheduled & ensuring timely supply of equipment and consumables.
Generate reports on facility performance, maintenance schedules, and utility consumption.
Recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and occupational health and safety standards.
Promote sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency, waste management, and resource conservation.
Maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and inspection records.
Required Qualifications
HND/Bachelor’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Estate Management, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in facility or building management.
Knowledge of facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and access control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility maintenance software.
Familiarity with HSE policies and facility-related compliance standards.
