The Facility Construction Project Manager oversees planning, executing, and completing construction and renovation projects within an organization's facilities.
This role ensures compliance with safety standards, budgets, and architectural integrity. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction, renovation, and architecture, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability of the company’s facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage building construction project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Ensure facility construction projects align with architectural standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee building modifications, renovations, and new facility office
Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost estimates
Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
Oversee procurement of construction materials, equipment, and labor in-line with the budget
Manage and supervise facility renovation, remodeling, and structural modifications.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify work progress and adherence to safety protocols.
Address construction challenges, delays, and on-site issues effectively.
Ensure that all completed construction work is durable, functional, and aesthetically aligned with design expectations.
Develop long-term maintenance strategies to prolong facility lifespan and optimize operational efficiency.
Ensure all construction and renovation activities adhere to building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Conduct safety inspections and enforce risk management protocols on-site.
Manage contracts and relationships with architects, engineers, and construction service providers.
Oversee vendor performance, ensuring timely and quality delivery of construction services.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain detailed records of project documentation, including blueprints, permits, and change orders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
5+ years of experience in facility construction project management, renovation, and architectural design.
Strong expertise in building structures, materials, and renovation techniques.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, or construction project management software.
Experience in managing commercial, residential, or industrial facility projects.
Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
