Facility Officer at Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Center

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role as a facility officer at Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre in Lagos. The facility officer will be responsible for overseeing facility operations, managing facility maintenance, ensuring health and safety compliance, and providing excellent operational service.
• Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of all facilities, including maintenance, safety, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee building maintenance and repairs
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors
• Manage the facilities budget and expenses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans
• Optimize use of space and resources
• Promote sustainable practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Engineering or related field
• Must be an active Corp member NYSC.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
• Facilities Operations and Facility Management (FM) skills
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in a healthcare facility is a plus
