Facility Officer (Laundry and Gardener) at Izy Group of Companies Limited

Job Summary

• We are searching for an attentive Laundry Attendant / Gardener to come on board. In this position, you will be responsible for organising, cleaning and sorting items including sheets and towels and also tending to trees.
• You will report directly to a senior facility officer who will manage and guide you through best practices and address any concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
• Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Load, operate and unload washers and dryers.
• Mowing, trimming, tree cutting and pruning.
• Maintenance of green spaces, cleaning and weeding
• Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and gardening equipment.
• Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering and gardening equipment.

Requirements

• A high School Diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
• Basic arithmetic and excellent organisational skills.
• Mechanical skills, with an understanding of how machinery operates.
• Verbal and written fluency with English
