    Facility Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Facility Manager is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and safety of all physical facilities at Lily College of Nursing Sciences.
    • The role ensures that classrooms, hostels, offices, laboratories, and utilities are well-maintained, safe, and conducive for learning, teaching, and administrative activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all college facilities, including classrooms, hostels, offices, laboratories, and common areas
    • Ensure regular inspection, servicing, and repair of buildings, equipment, and utilities (power, water, HVAC, plumbing)
    • Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers, including cleaning, security, and maintenance services
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Manage facility budgets, maintenance costs, and inventory of assets
    • Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies
    • Coordinate space management and support campus operations and events
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and facility assets.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND / BSc in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, or a related field
    • Proven experience as a Facility Manager or in a similar role (preferably in an educational or healthcare environment)
    • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards
    • Good vendor and contract management skills
    • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision
    • Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
